Détails de l'évènement
First in a series where we will meet members of Edmonton's vibrant BIPOC entrepreneurial community, learn about their journey, and have a first-hand experience with their business. Women entrepreneurship has grown 30% in the last decade in Canada. BIPOC women entrepreneurs face more systemic barriers and receive less access to capital than their non-BIPOC counterparts and male counterparts. However, despite these challenges, many BIPOC women entrepreneurs are redefining success—for example: including more social impact in their businesses, incorporating family (sometimes immigrant and multi-generational) into their business models. This series will focus on these fabulous women who are building successful businesses and making a difference. And we get to learn and have fun at the same time!
In this first event, we will meet Sunita from Sen Studios makeup studio Our Team | Sen Studios. The event will include hearing Sunita's story, sharing some snacks, and learning how to apply everyday makeup, as well as a glam look, using our own makeup.
*Please remember to bring your own makeup to this event.
