Join us in commemorating Black History Month with the exclusive screening of the film "Nothing for us Without Us". This U of T "School of Cities" docu-series highlights the urban transformation of the Little Jamaica neighborhood located in the Oakwood and Vaughan Road area in Toronto. Historically, this neighbourhood has been a hub for Toronto's Black population. It has undergone remarkable transformation framed as urban renewal and development. The film (40 minutes in length) will be followed by an expert panel discussion led by member Mitzie Hunter, and includng CEO of Civic Action Leslie Woo, and Cheryll Case from CP planning. 


Cineplex has generously offered their Varsity cinema location for this exceptional event.
