Sarah Kimmins CEO Scientific Founder of His Turn
Sarah Kimmins CEO Scientific Founder of His Turn Dr. Sarah Kimmins has spent her career at the forefront of reproductive health, uncovering how environmental factors shape male fertility. With a strong academic foundation from Dalhousie University, where she earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D., she developed a passion for epigenetics and its role in germ cell development. As a professor at McGill University and later at Université de Montréal, Dr. Kimmins led groundbreaking studies in epigenomics, earning prestigious Canada Research Chairs in her field. Recognizing the urgent need for better male infertility diagnostics, she founded HisTurn, a company developing the first genomic-based fertility assessment. HisTurn moves beyond outdated semen analysis, offering a cutting-edge approach that provides clinicians and patients with precise, personalized insights. Now leading research at the Centre de Recherche du Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CRCHUM), Dr. Kimmins continues to push the boundaries of fertility science. Through HisTurn and her ongoing academic work, she is transforming how male reproductive health is understood and treated, ensuring that men receive the attention, tools, and solutions necessary to address infertility with confidence and clarity.

Marie-Josée Lamothe Directrice exécutive et académique, Faculté de gestion Desautels at Centre Dobson, Université McGill MJ Lamothe a plus de 30 ans d'expérience dans le monde du numérique et des produits de consommation (Google, L'Oréal, Procter & Gamble). Elle est surtout reconnue pour son expertise en transformation numérique et en stratégie de marque globale. Depuis 2018, elle est présidente de Tandem International et travaille en étroite collaboration avec des VC en tant que partenaire consultatif de leur portefeuille de petites et moyennes entreprises. Elle est également professeur de pratique à l'Université McGill et administre le Centre Dobson pour l'entrepreneuriat. De 2014 à 2018, elle a agi en tant que directrice générale chez Google Canada, supervisant les pratiques de mise sur le marché pour 14 secteurs d'activité. Elle a également occupé plusieurs postes de direction chez L'Oréal entre 2002 et 2014, de directrice du marketing international en France à CMO et CCO au Canada. Elle est administratrice au sein de conseils d'administration canadiens publics et privés tels que Alimentation Couche-Tard (TSX, comité d'audit), RioCan REIT (TSX, comité d'investissement), Group Dynamite International (TSX, audit), Nortera (présidente), Previan (présidente, comité GNC). Elle a été nommée par le Conseil du Trésor du Canada au Comité de vérification pour les ministères du CESD et de l'ASFC, nommée par le commissaire de l'ARC à son groupe consultatif externe, nommée au Conseil consultatif sur l'économie et l'innovation de 2017 pour le gouvernement du Québec et a été membre du Comité d'examen multidisciplinaire des chaires de recherche du Canada 150.
