Come and join your IWF sisters on a Thursday evening to catch up with each other while celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Persons Case, when women were recognized as "persons" with the ability to be appointed to the senate of Canada. We will take this opportunity as IWF Edmonton to gather for some "pink tea" (rose wine or cranberry and soda), learn about why the gathering is called a Pink Tea, and hear about the Famous Five and their role in achieving this leap for Canadian women.
In addition to catching up, we will also discuss IWF Edmonton and ideas we may have for establishing a role for us in the community, in line with the Pink Tea theme "What are you fighting for?". Come and provide your input! Carolyn Campbell will be co-facilitating this event – thank you Carolyn!
